EP Robinson Pty Limited is a commission wool processing company specialising in the scouring and carbonising of all grades of Australian wool for the global worsted and woollen trade.

Riversdale Mill is an Independent Commission Wool Processor with an annual processing capacity of 5 million kgs of scoured wool and 3 million kgs of carbonised wool.

The plant is centrally located in Geelong Victoria, with direct access to the major wool storage areas in eastern Australia and the Port of Melbourne.

The company employs 40 full time staff over a continuous 24 hour day roster. All staff are trained comprehensively in the aspects of production procedures, product quality, occupational health and safety and environmental responsibility.

HISTORY

The company was originally established in Melbourne as a wool trading company in 1972 managed by Mr Edward (Ted) Robinson.

Since 1980 it has operated in the historic Collins Bros Union No. 2 Woollen Mill in Geelong (now known as Riversdale Mill).

In 1988 the Company purchased the mill property, now named Riversdale Mill and over the ensuing years, new wool processing machinery was acquired and installed expanding the production capacity.

The company is now owned and managed by second generation family member Jim Robinson.
